The Residential Program at Logan House Rehabilitation

Qualified staff of rehab works with residents to develop a personal treatment program and provide them necessary resources and tools to support their journey of recovery through the following programs:

Residential Program

Logan house rehabilitation center offers a residential drug and alcohol treatment program that includes intensive, structured intervention after withdrawal from alcohol or drugs of dependence. This program consists of individual and group counseling, job skills training, and access to professional services.

As part of a therapeutic community, residents are involved in the day-to-day activities of the community living. Patients are asked to take on their daily tasks and responsibilities, like cleaning, cooking, and performing general maintenance. With this approach, a person can be considered an ultimate decision-maker in the future. People can also get access to transitional housing or rehab after completing the live-in recovery program.

The treatment center looks forward to developing a dedicated, welcoming, and confidential space for clients and their families. They offer possibilities for social connections, building confidence, learning life skills, and critical support to help people live their life well. Rehab also deals with other services in the areas of legal support and oral, sexual, mental, and general health. Fortunately, there are physicians that help clients to end addiction and return to their fulfilling profession.

Logan rehabilitation center is run by a team of passionate and experienced people whose care is comprehensive, education-based, and tailored to individual needs. In addition, a harm-minimization approach is offered, along with individual counseling and a positive learning environment and support. The values of the health club reflect who they are and what they believe in, and they do best for their patients and the communities they work in. Rehab treatment is based on the principle that residents remain free of drugs, alcohol, and non-prescribed drugs. Therefore, it provides an appropriate place to quit smoking and address the underlying causes of substance use. Multiple studies have shown that smoking is injurious to health and a substantial barrier to recovery.

When a time comes for residents to leave the program, they help put in place support networks within a community to ensure a smooth transition. According to logan house rehabilitation center, completing a program is highly associated with a person’s stay, although 65% of residents do not stay more than three months in most residential programs.

This is why the program is delivered over six-week cycles, with the flexibility to be extended up to three months depending on a person’s recovery. People with more ample residential experience stay longer.

Ongoing Aftercare Program

After completing a drug and alcohol residential program, a person can get free, ongoing counseling in the community. Logan Houserehab helps its clients with other services that individuals need, like child care, education, and employment.  Completing a rehabilitation program is a significant accomplishment for those in rehab. Despite this, staying sober is a lifelong process, and treatment facilitators work hard to achieve independent living in the community.

People need a little time to get back to where they were before addiction; therefore, Logan House rehabilitation helps them make it through life after rehab. Patients who leave rehab may have to re-adjust to their new lifestyles and find new friends, which is why Logan rehabilitation center support doesn’t stop when they leave.

Who Can Join the Logan Rehab?

Logan House rehabilitation center is designed for those interested in stabilized Opioid Replacement Therapy (ORT). Treatment facilitators of rehab collaborate with their clients and prescribers to ensure that their ORT is well administered. To do this, the following steps are required by rehab on admission.

  • No other drugs of dependence should be advised to the client, including Z drugs, benzodiazepines, other sedating antihistamines, or opiates.
  • A person should be stabilized on a consistent dose of ORT for not less than four weeks under an approved ORT prescriber.
  • An approved ORT dispensing pharmacy and an appropriate driving distance from the residential service should be advised.
  • A written extended ORT prescription should be copied in the dispensing pharmacist and received for the proposed treatment period.
  • Details of the ORT program should be given, including their dispensing pharmacist, approved prescriber, and the address of their current dosing point.

FAQs

How long is the program?

The program is offered from six to 12 weeks to give people more satisfaction and benefits, depending on an individual’s recovery. People who need more extended residential experience can stay longer. A rehab provides support to their clients from the time they contact them and helps them in their recovery process. A person can access the services of a treatment center before, during, and after a stay.

How to prepare for admission?

A person can see a counselor in the community before they enter Logan House rehab. The staff is available to help and support people in solving their issues. The Logan House rehabilitation center is a part of Lives Lived Well, so people can get access to any of their services before staying at Logan House rehab.

How much does it cost?

Logan rehabilitation center aims to provide effective and economical residential treatment for people. A person is required to pay some money during their stay, usually a portion of Centrelink’s payment. The amount depends on the benefits people receive from rehab and the payment type. The upfront admission fee method is also used (consisting of the first two weeks of treatment and a medication levy of the client). If self-funding (not having Centrelink benefits), a person has to pay for a complete six-week cycle treatment in advance.

How does admission take place?

Referrals are accepted in rehab, but if a person is over 18 years old and is using drugs or alcohol, they can apply through the website. Logan House rehabilitation also accepts online provider referrals from other health specialists, government organizations, services, and the community, or they can even fax their referrals to 07 5546 8223.

Admission timeframes may be different. People should be assured that the pre-treatment team will support them until they are admitted into live-in service. Once the referral is received, their support begins.

Can my family stay in contact?

During the stay, families are welcome to meet their loved ones in a residential treatment program. An individual can have scheduled access to their mobile phone in a dedicated session to call their family, and they can also receive and send letters. Parents can also come and visit their children at the Logan House rehab as well as children can go to their parents on weekdays between business hours. The clinical team approves these visits earlier on, and the children under treatment must go along with an adult.
