Residential Impulse Disorder Program

At Havenwyck Hospital, a specialized medical team provides support and offers a structured long-term residential program for male children and adolescents between 9 and 17 years old. These are usually those who struggle with various psychiatric and behavioral problems, including sexually impulsive behaviors.

It is natural for a person to have certain impulses and urges. Owing to this, Havenwyck Psychiatric  Hospital provides a secure, 24-hour supervised, therapeutic mental health setting to those who are in the Sexual Impulse Disorder Residential Program and are unable to function successfully at home, in school, or in their social relationships. What to Expect at Arrival on the First Day

As a client arrives at Havenwyck Hospital in auburn hills, a team of staff members will greet them at the lobby desk. Following this, the official assessment will begin, in which clients will have to fill out the initial paperwork for screening. All clients must have their photo ID and insurance card available to complete the relevant paperwork at this stage. Once the paperwork is complete, the staff members will take all belongings of clients and secure them in a locked apartment, and patients will head to the assessment room where a licensed mental health professional will be waiting for them.
