Havenwyck Hospital provides a continuum of individualized treatment to children, adolescents, and adults needing psychiatric or substance abuse treatment.  Located in Auburn Hills in Southeastern Michigan, Havenwyck strives to create a customized treatment plan for each individual toward health and well-being. The facility is divided into six distinct units.

Telehealth services

Telehealth programs make use of advanced technology to provide care to people who cannot or do not require attending rehab in person. As a part of these programs, experts use HIPAA-compliant video and audio communication technologies to connect with clients and provide them with education, therapy, advice, and intervention. At Havenwyck Hospital, the telehealth program allows clients to connect remotely with doctors, nurses, and therapists to receive care and advice comparable to someone attending rehab. These experts also keep following up on the patients through frequent video and audio sessions. Keep in mind that the eligibility for joining a telehealth program may vary and can only be decided after an in-depth assessment of a client’s behavioral and medical health.

Inpatient Programs

The inpatient rehabilitation facility of Havenwyck provides mental health support, a safe environment, and structured care to an individual. This program provides various benefits to people in recovery, including 24/7 medical care, emotional support, and freedom from outside triggers. Residential Impulse Disorder Program

At Havenwyck Hospital, a specialized medical team provides support and offers a structured long-term residential program for male children and adolescents between 9 and 17 years old. These are usually those who struggle with various psychiatric and behavioral problems, including sexually impulsive behaviors.

It is natural for a person to have certain impulses and urges. Owing to this, Havenwyck Psychiatric  Hospital provides a secure, 24-hour supervised, therapeutic mental health setting to those who are in the Sexual Impulse Disorder Residential Program and are unable to function successfully at home, in school, or in their social relationships. The unique design of the resident program helps its residents to participate in treatment-intensive therapeutic programs and helps them develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their families, and their sexual conduct issues. Moreover, the program facilitates a multidisciplinary intensive treatment program that includes psychiatric assessment and monitoring and individual, family, and group therapies.

In most cases, patients have behavioral and emotional problems and sexually impulsive behavior that require them to be in a secure, 24-hour, supervised, therapeutic setting. The program helps an individual to build healthier and more adaptive behaviors for future life.
