The Next Door Recovery is a Nashville nonprofit providing gender-specific treatment for adult women with substance-use disorders and co-occurring mental-health conditions. Its admissions criteria state that clients are women aged 18 or older; the provider also accepts pregnant women through 38 weeks of gestation across its levels of care.
The Nashville programme includes inpatient treatment and outpatient services. Outpatient care is designed to let women attend structured treatment during the day while applying recovery skills in everyday life, and may also support clients stepping down from inpatient care. The organisation describes its approach as faith-based while meeting clients at different points in their spiritual lives.
A separate Chattanooga re-entry centre runs a nine-month transitional programme for women involved with probation or parole. That service should not be treated as part of the Nashville campus.
