Elev8 Centers provides adult substance-use treatment at 151 W 136th Street in Harlem, New York City. Current services include medically supervised inpatient detoxification, inpatient rehabilitation, extended residential treatment, partial hospitalization, outpatient care, dual-diagnosis treatment and medication-assisted treatment. These are separate levels in a continuum, not interchangeable labels.
The provider says medical detox commonly lasts five to six days and inpatient rehabilitation runs for up to 28 days. Residential treatment may continue longer and is individualized according to clinical need and progress. Treatment and discharge timing are set after assessment rather than guaranteed in advance.
Elev8 says it accepts most Medicaid plans and some commercial insurance plans. Before discharge, continuing-care staff build an aftercare plan that may include PHP or outpatient treatment, psychiatric follow-up, peer/community support and transitional housing referrals.
