The former First Step of Sarasota website now redirects to Lightshare Behavioral Wellness & Recovery. Lightshare provides mental health and substance-use services in the Sarasota area, with programmes for children, adolescents and adults.
The current provider describes inpatient, residential, day/night treatment, intensive outpatient, outpatient and telehealth options, including a specialised mothers-and-infants residential programme. These are network-level services with different eligibility and locations; do not assume that every programme is offered at one address or admits all ages.
Lightshare directs initial enquiries through its Central Receiving Service at 941-732-6837. Its payment page states that clients are accepted regardless of ability to pay and describes insurance, private-pay and possible financing options. That statement is not a promise that every programme is free. Programme-specific fees, currency/tax details, duration and benefits should be confirmed directly.
